being duly sworn states that he saw the said Geo L. Barnes
sign seal and deliver the foregoing instrument of writing
for the uses and purposes therein contained and
that he together with B.P. Boulware signed their
names as witnesses thereto this the first day of
March A.D. 1869

A Meeting of the citizens of Gainesville Fla will
be held at the Court House in said town on the 12th
day of April next for the purpose of organizing a
town government and electing officers for the same
The corporate limits of said town or city shall
be as follows viz commencing at a point one mile
due north from the center of the Court house thence east one mile
thence south two miles thence west two miles thence
north two miles thence east one mile to place of be=
ginning containing in all four square miles.
                    This organization to take place under
the statute of 1869
