Whereas Thomas W. Chestnut of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida has by an Instrument of writing
conveyed certain real estate situate in Alachua
County Florida and herein after to be more fully des
cribed unto William H. Stringfellow of said County
and State for and in consideration of the Sum of
ten thousand dollars and for the better securing the
payment of the same the said Thomas W. Chestnut
has taken a Mortgage upon said land and whereas
in the court it becomes necessary to foreclose said
mortgage and with a view to bar Sarah Stringfellow
wife of the said William H. Stringfellow of dower therein
in case of Foreclosure Now Know all men by these
presents that I Sarah Stringfellow of said County
of Alachua Florida wife of William H. Stringfellow as
aforesaid for and in consideration of five dollars to
me in hand paid by the said Thomas W. Chestnut
the reciept whereof I do hereby acknowledge have
relinquished released and renounced and for-
ever quit claimed and by these presents do relin
quish release renounce and forever quit claim unto
the said Thomas W. Chestnut his heirs and assigns
forever all the dower and thirds rights and title of
dower and thirds and all other rights title interest
property claim and demand whatsoever in law and
in Equity of me the said Sarah Stringfellow of in
and to the following described land as mentioned
aforesaid that certain piece or parcel of land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida and which is Situated in the Arodondo
Grant and Known and described as section No 7
Township 11 Range 19 Sec 12 T10 and R18 containing
Twelve hundred and Eighty acres more or less
so that neither I the said Sarah Stringfellow my
heirs executors or administrators nor any other person
or persons for me them or any of them shall have or
pretend to have any dower or thirds or any other right
title claim or demand of or in or to the said premises
mortgaged as aforesaid
