(formerly overseers house) and necessary houseroom for
the accommodation of Laborers and as many house
as may be necessary to harvest the crops made on
the said land for the year 1869. It is required by
the party of the first part and agreed to by the
party of the second part that as much of the
crop made on said land as may be necessary
to pay the rent be retained on the premises until
all the rent be paid
           In witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hands & seals this day and
year first above mentioned

                   Know All Men by these presents
that I Penelope L. Standley of the county and State
aforesaid for and in consideration of the love and
Affection which I have and bear for the children
of James W. Standley to wit John Blackstone Standley
Lola Lorena Standley & James Calhoun Standley all
of the said County & State Minor children do hereby
give and grant convey and deliver to the said
Minor children John B. Standley Lola Lorena Standley
and James C. Standley Three hundred head of stock
cattle marked Sharp in one ear and crop split
and underbit in the other branded J.B.S. ranging
in Alachua County Florida near J.D. Dells place
on the Wakasassee River
               And to John B. Standley as
aforesaid a dark bay pony horse three years
old & to Lola Lorenda Standley a sorrel pony
horse with flaxen mane called "Kate"
     To have and to hold the above described pro-
perty as is herein before stated forever.
Given under my hand and seal this Twelfth day of 
May A.D. 1869
