Now known ye or all men by these presents that
I Benjamin J. Davis admr aforesaid in considera-
tion of the said Thirty seven hundred Dollars to
me in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have bargained and sold & by these
presents do grant and convey unto the party of the
second part all that certain tract or parcel of land
known as the NE1/4 & SE1/4 of NW1/4 Sec 9 Tp 7, Range
18 SE, To have and to hold with all the appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the
party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever
in fee simple. And I the said Benjamin
J. Davis admr as aforesaid do covenant and agree
to and with the party of the second part that I am
seized of a good estate of inheritance with full
power to sell and convey the same and that I
will warrant and forever defend the same to the
party of the second part her heirs and assigns
forever, I witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal the day & year
first above written.
