                  Know all men by these presents
that I Ephraim Vincent for and in Consideration
of the Sum of One hundred & thirty Six 91/100 dollars
paid to me at and before the Sealing of these pres
=ents, and for Such other Sums as may be advanced
from time to time in order to enable me to make my
Crop this present Season, I hereby Grant bargain &
Sell unto William Gordon all my right, title & interest
in and to thirty five acres of Cotton and thirty acres
of Corn now growing on the plantation Known as the
Fort Crane place together with two horses, To Have
and to hold unto the said William Gordon, his
heirs and assigns, The Condition of the above oblige
=tion is such that whereas the said William
Gordon had advanced to me the said Ephraim
Vincent, the Sum of One hundred and thirty Six & 91/100
($136 91/100) and proposes to make Such further adv
=ances in Money and provisions as may be required
to make my Crop, Now then, when my said Crop of
Corn & Cotton is gathered and ready for sale and
a market, the first proceeds of such Sale or Sales as
may be Coming to me is to be applied to the payment
of Such debt or debts as may be Contracted with the
said William Gordon, Furthermore, the said William
Gordon Shall direct in what manner and form
said beforementioned Crop shall be ready for market
and Shipped I also furthermore agree that the
Horses hereinbefore mentioned will not be removed
from the Fort Crane plantation except on necessary
business towards working my Crop or cannot be
Sold without my Knowledge Now therefore on
payment of the said Sum of One hundred & thirty six
91/100 dollars and Such other sums of money as
may be advanced from time to time this obligation
Shall be void otherwise to remain in full force &
virtue
