that they are identical Ivin Holder and G.H. Call
that appears to be the Subscribing Witnesses to
the foregoing Deed of conveyance & that they saw 
Henry W. Colson Sarah B. Colson and Jane
Colson sign the same for the purposes therein
specified.

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into this
                    the 28th day of April A.D. 1863 between
William D. Clark and Susan C. Clark his wife of the State and
County aforesaid of the first part and Isaac B. Nichols of the State
of Georgia Catoosa County of the second part, Witnesseth that the
said W.D. Clark and Susan C. Clark his wife for and in
consideration of the sum of Four Thousand Five hundred Dollars
($4500) the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant
bargain alien convey and sell unto the said Isaac B. Nichols
all those certain lots or parcels of land lying and being situated
in the Town of Gainesville Known and distinguished in the
plan of said town as Block four (4) Range four (4) containing
one acre more or less, containing all the land in said
Block. Whereon the Suwannee House is situated and also all
that lot or parcel of land lying and being situated in
the Town of Gainesville and known and distinguished in
the plan of said town as lot one (1) Block four (4) containing
Sixty feet Square being the north portion of said Lot and
whereon is a Stable and by said Hotel together with all of
the Estate right title and interest and property claim and
demand whatever of the said William D. Clark and Susan
C. Clark his wife either in Law or Equity or otherwise into
or out of the same, to have and to hold the said lots pieces
or parcels of land and any part and parcel thereof with their
appurtenances unto the said Isaac B. Nichols of the State and
County aforesaid his heirs Executors Administrators and
assigns forever, and the said William D. Clark for himself
his heirs, Executors Administrators and assigns and for and 
in behalf of the said Susan C. his wife and her heirs doth
covenant promise, grant and agree to and with the said
Isaac B. Nichols his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns
by these present in manner and form of allowing to wit,
