Personally came before the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and
for said County, Florida A. Williams who being duly examined
by me separate and apart from her said husband did
declare and acknowledge that the foregoing relinquishment
and renunciation of dower, is and was made freely and
voluntarily on her part and without any compulsion, constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her husband

County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that
we John McDermott and Mary C. McDermott his wife for
and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred Dollars
in gold to me in hand paid at & before the Signing & Sealing
of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
do hereby give, grant bargain, sell & convey unto Walter S.
Land of the same State & County his heirs Executors Adminis
trators & assigns, all those lots or parcels of land lying and
being situated on the Florida Rail Road & known and dis
=tinquished in a plat of lots surveyed by P. Henry Young, on
the 20th day of July AD 1859, as lots No one (1) & two (2) containing
forty nine feet three inches (49 - 3) each front in Back No 14
North of, and fronting the Florida Rail Road, Near the depot
running North the full length of said lot One hundred &
Ninety one feet (191) & four inches to a Street containing (30
feet thirty) which ends said lots from Block No 11 same survey
Also the East half of Block No 11, containing 98 feet 6
inches fronting the aforesaid Street of Thirty feet and running
North the whole length of said Block, One hundred and
Ninety feet, with all the privileges & appurtinances belonging
or in any wise appertaining  To Have and to hold the
above described premises unto the said Walter S. Land
his heirs Executors, Administrators & assigns forever in
fee simple And we the said John McDermott and
Mary C. McDermott do covenant with the said Walter S.
