This Deed, made this twenty first day of January in the year
one thousand Eight hundred and sixty seven between Chas W.
Brush of Baltimore City in the State of Maryland, sole surviving Executor
of the last will and testament of Nehemiah Brush late of the State
of New York deceased and William H. Bracy of Gainesville Alachua County
in the State of Florida.
Whereas the said Nehemiah Brush departed this life leaving
a last will and testament dated on the 10th day of March 1843
which will has been duly proven and is now of record in the
Office of the Clerk of Alachua County, Florida, and whereas
the said Charles W. Brush the only surviving Executor in said will
named hath under and by virtue of the power and authority vest=
ed in him therein, sold to the said William H. Bracy the
land and premises hereinafter described for the sum of Five Hun-
dred dollars, which sum the said Bracy has paid to the said
Brush as is hereby acknowledged.
Now this Indenture Witnesseth, that in consideration of the
premises and of he sum of one dollar the said Brush as Exe-
cutor aforesaid doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Bracy, all that certain tract of land designated as number
Twenty (20) of Brush' addition to Gainesville as described upon
a plat of the same filed with the Clerk of said County of
Alachua measuring from North to south two hundred feet
and from East to west five hundred feet and is the same
Lot upon which the said Bracy now resides, Being part of the
same property which was set aside and confirmed to the
heirs of the said Nehemiah Brush deceased by the Circuit
Court of St Johns County Florida in the Case of Brush and
others against Prall and others as by reference to the papers
in said case filed with Clerk of Alachua County will more
fully appear. Together with all and singular the estate
rights title and interest which the said testator had in
his life time and at the time of his decease of in and to
the same. To have and to hold the above de-
scribed premises with appurtenances unto the said William
H. Bracy his heirs and assigns forever.
