This Indenture made this the 22nd day of April
one thousand eight hundred & sixty six between Francis
A. Shannon of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
of the first part and Ann B.M. Shannon of the same
place of the second part. Witnesseth That the said
party of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of one thousand dollars to him in hand
paid before the delivery hereof hath bargained and
sold and by these presents doth grant and convey
to the said party of the second part all that certain
peice or parcel of Land lying and being in the
County of Alachua and State aforesaid and known
as the South West 1/4 of the North West 1/4 of section (3)
Township (11) Range (22) South & East containing
Forty acres more or less, Also all that certain peice
or parcel of land lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State aforesaid and known as the
West half of the North West quarter of Section (11) in
township (11) South of Range (22) East containing
Seventy nine and ninety nine one hundredth of
an acres together with all and singular the 
tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances and
all the estate, title and interest of the said
party of the first therein, and the said party
of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree
with the said party of the second part that at
the time of the delivery hereof the said party of
the first part is the lawful owner of the premises
granted and seized thereof in fee simple
absolute and that he will warrant and defend
the above granted premises in the quiet and
peaceable possession of the said party of the
second part her heirs and assigns forever
