This Indenture made and entered into this the ninth
day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and
sixty six between Thomas Shirley of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and Anna his wife of the first part
and Harriet Ann Sanchez of the same place of the second
part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of three (3) hundred
dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto
the Harriet Ann Sanchez party of the second part and
to her heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract
or parcel of land lying and being in the State of
Florida and known on the map of the United States
Surveys as the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of sec thirty three (33)
in Township (10) ten south of Range (16) Sixteen East
containing forty acres more or less
  To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel
of land, together with all the improvements tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in any wise appertaining unto the said party
of the second part her heirs and assigns forever in
fee simple

                   and for the County & State aforesaid
personally came on this day Thos Shirley and Anna
his wife both to me well known and acknowledged that
they executed the foregoing deed for the purposes there
in mentioned and the said Anna Shirley wife of the
said Thomas Shirley being examined by me separate 
and apart from her husband did further acknowl
edge that she joined her husband in the execution
of said deed for the purpose of releasing and relin
quishing all her dower and right of dower in
and to the premises therein conveyed and
that she done the same freely and voluntarily
and without any apprehension constraint
or fear of or from her said husband
and in witness thereof doth hereunto
