Know all men by these presents that we Henry Snowden and
Charity A. Snowden his wife of Alachua County in the
State of Florida for and in consideration of the sum of Eight
thousand one hundred and twenty six Dollars to us in
hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have bargained and sold and by these presents do give
grant sell and convey unto Nannie C. Yulee of same
State and her heirs and assigns a certain tract or
parcel of land in Alachua County described on the land
books of the State as the South west quarter of Section (9)
nine in Township No Eleven (11) South of Range Eighteen (18)
East containing one hundred & sixty acres more or less
together with all the buildings & other appurtenances
thereupon or thereunto belonging. To have and to hold
the said above described lands unto her the said Nannie
C. Yulee and her heirs forever. The said lands
being the same which were conveyed to Henry Snowden
by Mirriam Bryant & John Bryant by Deed dated 2nd
May 1864 & afterwards conveyed by the said Henry Snowden
to William Adams and by said William Adams to the
said Charity A. Snowden.
And we do covenant with the said Nannie C.
Yulee her heirs and assigns that we are lawfully
seized in fee simple of said premises that they are free
of all incumbrances and that we will warrant and
defend the said premises to the said Nannie C. Yulee
forever against the lawful claims and demands of
all persons.
In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our
hand and affixed our seals this twenty fifth day of

Be it known that I the said Charity A. Snowden
wife of Henry Snowden do hereby in the presence of
Samuel A. Swann a Notary Public in and for the County
of Alachua, being examined by him separate and
apart from my said Husband do hereby acknowledge
and declare that I executed the aforegoing deed of
conveyance to Nannie C. Yulee as one of the parties
thereto for the purpose of conveying to the said Nannie
C. Yulee all my right title estate and interest in and
to the premises therein described and that I did the
same freely and voluntarily and without any constraint |
