Alachua County   } This Indenture witnesseth that I
                  K.D. Smith for and in consideration of
the sum of Twelve hundred Dollars paid at and
before the Sealing and delivery of these presents do
hereby transfer and sign over all my right title
and claim to the above and foregoing described tract
or parcel of Land to David Black his heirs and
assigns together with the appurtenances, and I warrant
and defend the same and the right and title thereto
from and against myself my heirs and assigns and
against the claims of all other persons whatever;
   In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and Seal this 27th August A.D. 1864.

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that
                  we Saml B. Thompson & his wife Laura D.
Thompson of Madison County & State of Florida for and
in consideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars
to us in hand paid by J.H. Roper of Alachua County
and State aforesaid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowl-
edged have granted bargained and Sold & by these
presents do grant bargain sell & convey unto the Said
J.H. Roper all the following described Lot or parcel of
Land lying and being situated in the Town of
Gainesville in Alachua County & State aforesaid to wit
Block (6) six and Range (6) six as described in the
Plat of said Town with all the appurtenances all the
rights titles interest claims and demands of us or
either of us in the premises to have and to hold the
same with the appurtenances unto the said J.H. Roper
his heirs and Assigns in fee Simple and forever
and we the Said Saml B. Thompson & his wife Laura
D. and our heirs and assigns will warrant and
defend the Said premises with their appurtenances
unto the said J.H. Roper his heirs and assigns
forever
