This Indenture made this 26th day of October One
thousand eight hundred and Sixty nine (1869) Between
James H. Boston of the County of Alachaua
and State of Florida of the first part and
Samuel H. Jackson of the County of Columbia
and State of Florida of the Second part Witnesseth
that for and in Consideration of the Sum of
One hundred and fifty dollars to him the party
of the first part in hand paid by the party
of the Second part hath Sold and by these
doth Sell grant and Convey unto the party of
the Second part his heirs and assigns One Sorrel
horse named Ephram
This Mortgage is intended as Security
for the payment of a note given by James
50 cts U S H. Boston to Samuel H. Jackson dated 16th
Internal Oct 1869 and due 1st October 1870 For One hundred
Revenue and fifty dollars Which payment if well and
Cancelled truly made will render this Conveyance Void
