This Indenture Made this ninth day 
of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and sixty eight
Between Hiram L. Barton and Elizabeth
Barton his wife of the Town of Busti
Chautauqua County New York of the first
part and De Warren L. Barton of Alachaua
                   of the second part
County State of Florida^Witnesseth That the
said party of the first part in consideration
of the sum of six thousand five hundred
dollars to them duly paid have sold and By
these presents do grant and convey to the
said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns All that tract or parcel of land
situate in the County of Alachaua aforesaid
and known as Section number twenty seven
(27) Township Ten (10) Range Nineteen (19) 
and containing by estimate five hundred
and thirty and 40/100 530 40/100 acres more or
less Also the fractional section of number
Twenty=six in Township number ten (10) 
and Range nineteen (19) containing one
hundred and five (105) acres more or less
Also the South east half of Section twenty
eight (28) Township ten (10) of Range
nineteen (19) containing three hundred and
twenty (320) acres more or less containing
in all nine hundred and fifty five (955)
acres all in Arredondo Grant
Subject however to the payment of all
monies due or to become due to William
Colson administrator of the Estate of
William Colson deceased This deed is
given in place of one heretofore executed
by the party of the first part and was
lost in transmition through the mail
With the appurtenances And all the estate
title and Interest therein set forth of the said
party of the first part and the said Hiram =
L. Barton doth hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns that at the time of the
ensealing and delivery of these presents he is
the lawful owner and is well seized of the
premises above conveyed free and clear from
all encumbrances that the premises thus conveyed
in the quiet and peaceable possession of the
said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns he will forever warrant and Defend
