Sheriffs Deed

            Alachaua County  }  
                             This Indenture made this first day of March 
                             AD 1869 by Geo L. Barnes Sheriff of Said 
                       County of the first part and Mrs Mary M. Dell
                       of Said State and County of the Second part 
                       Whereas by virtue of a writ of Fiera Facias issued 
                       out of the Circuit Court of Alachaua County and 
                       to the Said Sheriff delivered he was commanded that 
                       of the goods and Chattles lands and Tenements of 
                       Edguin S. Gunnells he cause to be made the Sum 
                       of Three hundred and Seventy Seven 08/100 Dollars 
                       with Interest thereon and costs of Suit which 
                       Eliza M. Stewart Admix - lately recorded in the C=
                       ircuit Court of Said County against the Said E.-
                       S. Gunnells and whereas the Said Sheriff by virtue 
                       of Said Writs did on the fourth day of January
50cts U. States        A.D. 1869 levy upon and Seize the property herein
Internal               after mentioned and discribed and did by virtue 
Revenue  Stamp         of Said writs and pursuant to the Statutes in 
Cancelled              Such case made and provided duly advertise 
                       the Said property for Sale on the first day of 
                       March AD 1869 being the day and year date
                       of these presents and did on this day Sell the 
                       Same at Public Auction according to law to the
                       Said Mary M. Dell for the Sum of 
                                 being the highest bidder for the Sum 
                          Now therefore know ye that I, the Said 
                       Geo L. Barnes as Sheriff aforesaid by virtue 
                       of Said writ and the Statutes in Such case
                       made and provided in consideration of the 
                       Said Sum of                          Dollars 
                       to me paid by the party of the Second part 
                       have granted bargained and Sold and by 
                       these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto 
                       the Said party of the Second part his heirs 
                       and assigns forever all the following property to 
                       wit Lots No 7 and 8 in Block No 4 Range
                       3 Situated in the Town of Newnansville State
                       and County aforesaid together with all the rights 
                       and titles interests and appurtinances which the Said 
                       Edguin S. Gunnells had in Said property and the
                       Same to hold as fully as I the Said Sheriff afore=
                       said under Said writ might could or ought to Sell 
                       the Same
