                    Know all men by these presents that whereas
                    Alexander H. Lenard his this employed
John McQuire to watch his m****n and ginning establishment
Situated in the Town of Gainesville County and State aforesaid
Sunset to Sunrise of each day from the date of the Instrument
to such times as the Said parties may desire in consideration of
which Sources the Said Lenard agree to pay the said Lenard
agree to pay the Said McGuire at the rate of Fifty Dollars per
month and whereas the said Lenard is desirous of being protected
against theft and robery
                   Now therefore in Consideration of the premises
Michael O. Hara of the County and State aforesaid hereby covenant
and agree to and with the Said Alexander H. Lenard to become
responsible indemnify and pay him the Said Lenard for all
damages or injuries Sustained by him in consequence of thefts
or robbery committed at any time within the hours herein before
mentioned and during which time the Said John McGuire
has Stipulated to perform the duties of Watchman as is here
in before Stated
       In testimony whereof the Said parties have here-
unto Signed Sealed and delivered the Same this twenty third
day of September AD 1869

Freyer of The first part and Allen Barber Samuel Rollins, Edmond
     Edward Dunham, Peter Taylor, Miles Lewis 
Randell^Edward Simmons & Adam Morton, Trustees of the Free
School Established in the village of Micanopy & State of Florida
of the Second part Witnesseth That for and in consideration of the
Sum of Forty Dollars to them in hand paid at and before the
Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged the parties of the first part have given granted
bargained Sold & conveyed & by these presents do So give grant bargain
Sell and convey to the parties of the Second part & to their Successors
in Office a Trustees as aforesaid in perpetuity One Square acre
of land adjoining to and lying immediately East of the certain
