Alachua County } Whereas by virtue of a decree of
the Circuit Court of the Suwanee Circuit of Florida
sitting as a Court of Chancery in and for said
County at the Spring Term thereof 27 of June AD 1867
authorizing and directing the following named grantors in
the Deed of conveyance hereunder written to sell and
perfect titles to certain lots adjoining the Town of
Gainesville in said County the property of James B.
Bailey late of said County deceased of which lots or
parcels of ground as aforesaid those named in the
under written Deed are parcel and parts and for
certain purposes set forth in the petition on which
said Deed was granted which will more fully appear
by reference to the same in the records of said Court
Now therefore this Indenture made the Eleventh day
of January AD Eighteen hundred & Seventy between
Mary N. Bailey Cosmo O. Bailey Chas F. Bailey
Mary E. Bailey and Cosmo O. Bailey
for Henry J. Bailey Alexander C. Bailey Orvill B.
Bailey and Margaret R. Bailey, minors of the first
part and Stephen McCall Trustee of Cornelius E.
Kenedy wife of Thomas R. Kenedy, Witnesseth
That for and in consideration of the sum of two
Hundred Dollars to us in hand paid at and before
the sealing and delivering of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged we have
granted bargained sold conveyed and
and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey
and unto the said Stephen McCall

Trustee of said Cornelia E. Ken^edy wife of
Thomas R Kenedy, party of the second part
the following described lots or parcels of land
to wit, Commencing two hundred and sixty (260)
feet south of the of the south East corner
of block one (1) Range one (1) of the Town
of Gainesville running south (200) two hundred
feet thence north (200) two hundred feet, thence
East (200) two hundred feet to the place of com
mencement: Then commencing again thirty (30)
from the
feet^North West corner of the above described lot,
running West (200) two hundred feet, thence south (200)
two hundred feet, thence East (200) two hundred feet,
thence North (200) two hundred feet, to the place of
commencement, situated lying and being imm
=ediately adjoining the original corporate limits
of the Town of Gainesville State and County afore-
said to have and to hold the before described
lots or parcels of land with the hereditaments
