 This indenture made this the twenty first day of Oc
tober in the year of our lord one thousand eight
hundred and sixty nine between Washington Morrison
and Penny Morrison his wife of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida parties of the first
part and Calvin Waits of the same County and 
State party of the second part Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of three hundred
dollars current money of the United States of
America to them in hand paid by the said
party of the second part, the receipt whereof
they do hereby acknowledge have granted barg
ained sold and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Calvin Waits party of
the second part that certain lot or parcel of land
situate in the Town of Gainesville County and State afore
said described as follows on the map or plan
of said Town as lot number two (2) Block three (3)
Range two (2) the same having sixty feet front
on the south side of the Court House square and 
running south one hundred and ninety seven
feet deep together with all and singular the rights
tenements &c in any wise appertaining or belonging
thereunto To have and To hold the above described
granted premises to the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever.
