This Indenture made and Entered into this twenty

ninth day of January AD 1870, Between James
R. Stafford administrator de bonis non of the 
Estate of Joshua Stafford late of the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida, deceased
of the one part and James B. Brown of the
other part, Witnesseth that whereas in the year 1869
an order was issued by the Judge of Probate
of said County and State commanding the
said party of the first part as administra
tor as above said to sell the real Estate of
the said Joshua Stafford for distribution -
among the heirs and distributees of the said Josh
=ua Stafford and whereas in pursuance of said 
order advertisement as required by law for the
Sale of said Real Estate, was made by said party
of the first part as administrator as aforesaid
and in pursuance of said Advertisement and
order a Sale at public outcry was made of the
said real Estate at the Court House in the Town
of Gainesville in said County and State on the
third Monday of November AD 1869 by the said
party of the first part as administrator as
aforesaid and at said Sale the said party
of the second part was the highest bidder and
bid the sum of nine hundred and fifty Dollars
($950.00) for the said real Estate at which amount
it was sold to him now the said party of
the first part by virtue of his authority as
said administrator and in consideration of
the sum of nine hundred and fifty Dollars
to him paid by the said party of the second
part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknoledged
hath granted bargained and sold and conveyed
by these presents does grant bargain and sell
to the said party of the second part the said
real Estate of the said Joshua Stafford the
sum being one hundred and Eight 20/100 acres
of land or thereabouts Situated in said
County and State and in lot number (10) ten
of the Twenty Thousand acre tract of Moses
