                                         This Indenture made this 
                      Seventh day of Feby AD 1870 
                      Between Geo L. Barnes Sheriff of said 
                      County, of the first part and Eliza E. Lewis
                      of the County of Alachua State of Florida 
                      of the second part. Witnesseth that Whereas 
                      by Virtue of sundry Writs of Fieri Facias issued 
                      out of the Circuit Court, for said County 
                      and to him the said Sheriff directed he  
                      was commanded that of the goods and 
                      Chattles lands and tenements of John Lewis Sr
                      he cause to be made the sum of $392 44/100 for
                      J. Kincaid admr April 9th 1860, $180 94/100 for J. Kincaid
                      9th Apl 1860, $179 68/100 for S.V. Gaskins administrator Et al
                      13 Nov 1867 $810 93/100 13th Nov 1867, 98 07/100 Nov 13 1867, for
                      Erwin & Hardee, $60 71/100 for J.C. Hardin 13 Nov 1867,
                      $30'24 for E.E. damson Nov 13th 1867 gross amt
                      $1753 01/100 with interest thereon with cost of 
--------------------- suit which was lately on the day above
    50 ยข U.S.         mentioned recovered in our Circuit Court
Stamp Cancelled       against John Lewis Sr and Whereas I George
--------------------- L. Barnes as Sheriff aforesaid by said virtue 
                      of said Writ, did on the 3d day of January AD 1870 
                      levy upon and seize the property hereinafter des
                      cribed, and did by virtue of said Writs and 
                      pursuant to the Statutes in Such case made 
                      and provided duly advertize the said property 
                      for Sale on the 8th day of Jany AD 1870 and 
                      did on that day Sell the Same at Public 
                      auction according to Law to Eliza E. Lewis
                      for the sum of Sixty Six Dollars being the
                      highest Sum bid for the same Now there
                      fore, Know Ye that I the said George
                      L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by Virtue
                                          of the 
                      of the said Writs and^Statutes in such cases
                      made and provided for and in consideration
                      of said Sum of Sixty Six Dollars to me
                      in hand paid by the said Eliza E. Lewis
                      party of the second part, have granted
                      bargained and Sold and by thes presents do
                      grant bargain and Sell unto the Said ====
                      Eliza E. Lewis party of the second part, her
                      heirs and assigns forever to Wit all the
                      following property To Wit, a certain tract
                      or tracts of Land lying and being in the
                      County of Alachua Florida Township nine (9)
