I Caroline Johnson wife of F.G. Johnson mentioned
in the foregoing deed in conformity to the deed of trust referred
to in the foregoing deed made by F.G. Johnson to William
Hickson do hereby consent to the foregoing sale & conveyance of
land made by William Hickson trustee to James F. Noland
dated this 31st May AD 1869 In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this the 7th day of Jan AD one thou=
sand eight hundred and sixty nine

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into
on the twenty fifth day of May AD 1869, between Benja=
min W. Powell party of the first part, and Mary James par-
ty of the second part, Witnesseth; - That for and in con-
sideration of the sum of Fifty dollars to the said par=
ty of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the 
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
said party of the first part hath bargained and sold
and doth, by these presents bargain, sell and convey unto
the said party of the second part all that certain parcel or tract
of land known as lots number 11 and 12, each containing 
one acre, more or less, situated near the south East cor=
ner of a tract of land surveyed 7" of Sept 1868 by C.S. Welch
and bought by the said party of the first part from William
Edwards administrator Estate of G.B. Paye, on the 1st day
of January 1867, said tract of land being described as follows
Bounded on the East, by lands of R.S. Stouton; South,
by the survey of the Village of Micanopy; West, by the land
the Estate of James Childs and T.L. Freyer and North, by the sec
tion line of what is known as Micanopy section, 26 of
of the Arredondo Grant and containing seventy acres, more or
