County of Alachua }
                     This Indenture made this Sixth
day of December A.D. 1870 Between George L. Barnes 
Sheriff of said County of the first part, and Samuel
B. Thompson of the County of Columbia State of 
Florida of the second part. Witnesseth that Where
as by Virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the 
Circuit Court for said County and to him, the said 
Sheriff directed he was commanded that of the 
goods and chattles lands and tenements of James B.
Blandin admr he cause to be made the sum of Two
Hundred and ten 36/100 dollars with interest thereon 
togather with cost of suit which Samuel B. Thompson
lately on the fifth day of July A.D. 1869 recovered in 
our Circuit Court against James D. Blandin admr
and Whereas I George L. Barnes as Sheriff afore
said by virtue of said Writ, did on the Sixth day of 
October A.D. 1869 levy upon and Seize the property here
inafter described and did by virtue of said Writs and 
persuant to the Statutes in such cases made and 
provided duly advertise the said property for 
Sale on the Sixth day of December A.D. 1869 and did 
on that day Sell the same at public Auction 
according to law to Samuel B. Thompson for the 
sum of Three Hundred and Eight 29/100 dollars being 
the highest Sum bid for the same Now therefore, Know 
Ye, that I the said George L. Barnes as Sheriff as afore
                the 
said by virtue of^said Writs, and of the Statutes in 
such cases made and provided for, and in consider
ation of Said Sum of three Hundred & Eight 29/100 dollars 
to me in hand paid by the said Samuel B. Thomp
son party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever
