This agreement made and Entered into, Showeth, that
We, Dr D.R. June of Alachua County Florida and John
E. Peay of Fairfield Dist So Co have decided certain
Sections of land and a part of a Sec purchased
by us jointly in Alachua County East Florida as
follows starting at the half mile station marked x on
the North and South line between Section 11 and 12
in Range 19 Township 10 and run straight to
the half mile station between sect 12 and 7 marked
thus x on the north and South line, Sect 7 being
Range 20 Township the same from thereto a Mag-
nolia Tree with this inscription on it "Allen Douglas
1845" on the North and South line between Sec 7
and a thousand acre tract of land formerly owned
by D.L. Clinch, Now the property of John L. Young, Said
Magnolia tree to be marked with a x on Each Side
representing Each ownership all the land now owned
by us jointly, north of said land to be the property of D.R.
June, separately and his heirs and all the land now
owned by us jointly south of said line to be owned
John E. Peay and his heirs, A Prairie Section 20
in Range 20 Township 10 to be divided equally also
When a proposition is made by Either party to this agree
ment, being also a joint purchase, Sect 12 bought from
Tilman Ingram Sect 7 and fraction of 108 acres also
Sect on Prairie 20 bought of Col M.T. Perry agent
for Col John H. Lewis of Ala ratified and confirmed by
Col Lewis this agreement to be binding in the absence of all
others, Witness our hands and seals this 22d of March 1856
