State of Florida } This indenture made on this
Alachua County   } the twelfth day of March 
Eighteen hundred and Seventy between O.G. Foard the
party of the first part and Jacob Brillis of the party
of the Second part, Witnesseth that said party
of the first part for and in consideration of the
Sum of One thousand two hundred Dollars ($1200)
dollars to him in hand paid by said party
of the Second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have sold aliened remised
released transfered conveyed and confirmed and does
by these presents sell alein remise release trans
fer and convey and confirm unto the said party
of of the second part, his heirs and assigns all that
right title interest and property of him the said
party of the first part in and to that certain
tract of land Situate lying and being in town of
Gainesville in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and known and described on the map
of the Public Survey of said town as Commence
ing at the North West corner of the lot now
owned by Joseph A.C. Jones and running North about
fifty feet, thence East about Sixty feet thence
South about fifty feet, thence West about sixty
feet to the point of beginning on lot number
one on Block four Range Four, togather with all and
Singular the tenements hereditaments and appertenan
ces thereunto beloning or in any wise appertaining
To have and To hold said described premises to him
the said party of the Second part, his heirs and 
assigns forever in fee Simple and the said party
of the first part for himself his heirs Executors
and administrators the right and title to said descri
bed premises in Said party of the second part
hereby covenants forever Warrant and defend ~~~~
