                   I, John F. Strickland for and in consid-
-eration of the sum of one Dollar to me in hand
paid by Solomon F. Halladay the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged as well as divers other good and
and sufficient considerations me thereunto moving do
hereby grant assigns relinquish and forever quit claim
unto the said Halladay all the interest or property
I may have or hold by or under a certain Judgement
by me recovered against William Strickland
in the Circuit Court aforesaid County for the
sum of Twenty Thousand ($20000) Dollars at the fall
term of said Court AD 1869 and that certain tract
of Land in the town of Gainesville known as the West
portion of lot number one (1) in Block five (5) range
