Sheriffs Deed

State of Florida  }
County of Alachua } This indenture made this the
                    6th day of December A.D. 1869 
between George L. Barnes Sheriff of said County of 
the first part and George W. Means as admr of
John W. Anderson deceased of the County of 
Marion State of Florida of the second part 
Witnesseth That whereas by virtue of a decree
in Chancery issued out of the Circuit Court 
of said County and to him the said sheriff 
directed he was Commanded that of the 
goods & chattles lands and tenements of George
Leitner he Caused to be made the sum of 
Fourty Five Thousand Dollars, with interest 
thereon with Costs of suit which Robert
Anderson & George W. Anderson as administrators
lately on the 17th day of June A.D. 1869 
recovered in our Circuit Court against 
George Leitner and whereas I George L. Barnes  
as sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of said 
writ did on the first day of November A.D. 
1869 Levy upon and seize the property 
hereinafter described and did by virtue 
of said writs and pursuant to the Statutes 
in such case made and provided duly 
advertised the said property for sale 
on the 6th day of December A.D. 1869
