County of Alachua } This indenture made 
                  } this Seventh day of 
March A.D. 1870 Between Geo L. Barnes Sheriff 
of said County of the first part and O.A.
Myers and W.K. Cessna of the County of 
Alachua State of Florida of the Second part 
Witnesseth, that Whereas by Virtue of a Writ
of Fieri Facias, issued out of the Circuit 
Court for Said County and to him the said 
Sheriff directed he was Commanded that 
of the goods and Chattles, land and tenement of 
James R. Simpson he cause to be made 
the Sum of one hundred Eighty Eight
40/100 dollars, with interest thereon togather
with Costs of Suits Which Stephen McCall
lately on the 17th day of November A.D. 1868 
recovered in our Circuit Court, against 
James R. Simpson and Whereas I George L. 
Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid, by virtue of 
of said Writ did on the first day of November 
A.D. 18   levy upon and Seize the property of
hereinafter described and did by Virtue of said 
Writs and persuant to the Statutes in such Case 
made and provided duly advertize the said 
property for Sale on the 7th day of March
A.D. 1870 and did on that day Sell the Same 
at public auction according to Law to 
O.A. Myers and Wm K. Cessna for the Sum 
                        highest 
of Forty Dollars being the^Sum bid for the 
Same Now therefore Know Ye that I the Said 
George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by 
virtue of Said Writs and of the Statutes in Such 
Cases made and provided for, and in Consideration 
of Said Sum of Forty Dollars to me in 
hand paid by Said O.A. Myers and Wm K. Cessna
partys of the Second part have granted bar
gained and Sold and by these presents do grant 
bargain and Sell unto the Said O.A. Myers and
William K. Cessna partys of the Second part 
their heirs and Assigns forever all the following 
property for Sale to wit: West (1/2) half of
Section Twenty five (25) and the north East
quarter of Section Thirty Six (36) Township
nine (9) Range nineteen (19) South and East
togather with all the rights, tittles interests and Equities 
Which the Said, James R. Simpson had of
