County of Alachua } Before me the subscriber a
                    Justice of the peace in and for said
County personally appeared J.M. Sparkman and his wife
Sinah Sparkman and Severly acknowledged that they
they signed the foregoing Deed and for the purpose
therein contained Sinah Sparkman being Examined
by me Secret and apart from her said husband says that
        the Same
she signed^the freely and voluntarily and without any
fear or Compulsion of her said husband in testimony
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this
the Twenty sixth of February AD 1870

Alachua County   } This indenture of agreement
made and entered in this the Thirty first day of
January in the year of our lord, one Thousand
Eight hundred and Seventy by and Between James
M. Hawthorne and his wife Parasad Hawthorne of
Alachua County parties of the first part and
Parasad F. Stringfellow the Wife of Robert
H. Stringfellow the said Parasad T. Stringfellow
being the daughter of James M. Hawthorne of the
County and State aforesaid.
Witnesseth that the Said parties of the first
part for the natural love and affection that they
have and bear for the said Parasad T. Stringfel
=low their daughter for and in Consideration of
the sum of Five Dollars of good and lawful
money to the said parties of the first part in
hand Paid by the said party of the Second
part at and before the Ensealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt Whereof is hereby ackn
owledged, the Said parties of the first part
hath given granted bargained Sold Conveyed
and Confirmed and by these presents doth give
grant bargain Sell and convey unto the said party
of the second part her heirs Executors and admin
istrators the following lot peice or parcel of
land Known and described as follows to wit:
one acre of land more or less Situated on the
North West quarter of Section Twenty Six (26)
