of Range Seventeen East containing seven hundred and
sixty three & 57/100 a*** more or less -
  To have and to hold, the above described premises, together with
all and singular the rights and privileges, immunities, ease-
ments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise ap-
pertaining unto the said party of the second part, and his
heirs, as their absolute property in fee simple forever and the said
Marcellus A. Williams and Emma Williams his wife Mar-
cellus do covenant and agree, that they are seized of a good and
and indefeasible fee discharged from all encumbrances and
liens of any and every nature and description; and that the
said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, shall
quietly and peaceably enjoy the above described premises
against all persons whatsoever, lawfully claiming the same and
that they will at any and at all times make such further
covenants, conveyances and assurances at the expense of the
said party of the second part, as he the said party of the sec-
ond part,
          In testimony whereof, the said partys of the first
part have hereunto affixed their hands and seals, this

County of Nassau } And now, on this the fifth day of March
AD, 1861, comes Emma Williams wife of the grantor in this
foregoing Deed, who being examined before Charles H. Pelot**** Esq,
a judicial officer, in and for the county and state afore-
said, separate and apart from her said husband, ac-
knowledged that the executed the foregoing Deed, freely and vol-
untarily, and without any constraint or compulsion,
fear or apprehension of or from her said husband, in
token whereof she doth, as well the said Emma Williams
as the said Charles H. Pelot Esq., have hereunto af-
fixed their hands and seals, this the day and year above
written.

a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, personally
came Robt Brown who being examined duly acknowledged
that he saw the grantors to the same sign & seal the
