This indenture made, the Twenty fifth day of
March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and Seventy Between Porter
Porter and De Warren L. Barton all of Alachua County
State of Florida parties of the first part and Leon
ard G. Dennis of said State and County of the second 
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred
Dollars to them paid by the said party of the second
part the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do, grant bargain sell and convey unto the
said party of the second part and to his heirs
and assigns forever, all that parcel of land
situated in the Town of Gainesville known and dis
tinguished in the original plan or plat of said
Town as the West half of Block one (1) Range Four
                   (200)
(4) being Two Hundred^Feet North and South and ninety
Eight and one half 98 1/2 feet East and West
Togather with all and singular the Tenements here
ditaments and appurtenances thereto beloning or in
any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders rents issues and proffits
thereof And all the Estate right title and interest in
said property possession claim and demand Whatsoever
Which the said grantees of the first part have of in
and to the above described premises and every part and
parcel thereof with the appurtenances To have and to
Hold forever And the said parties of the first
part for their heirs Executors and administrators do
covenant promise and agree to and with the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns
that they are lawfully seized in fee simple of the
above granted premises and that they are free from
all Encumbrances that they have good right to
sell and convey the same to the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever as aforesaid and that
they will and their heirs Executors and administrators
shall warrant and defend the same to the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever against the Lawful claims and demands
