Alachua County This indenture made this the
Twelfth day of March AD Eighteen Hundred
and Seventy between O.G. Foard of the county of
Irrdell and State of North Carolina, party
of the first part and Samson S. Hill of the
County of Alachua And State of Florida of the
second part Witnesseth that the said party of
the first part, for and in consideration of the sum
of Two Thousand one hundred $(2100) dollars
paid at and before the sealing and delivering
of these presents the receipt Whereof is
hereby acknowledged have bargained Sold
and conveyed And by these presents, doth grant
bargain sell convey, all that piece parcel or
lot of Land Situate lying and being in the
Town of Gainesville to the Said of the
Second his heirs And assigns **** and bounding
as follows to wit; beginning at the north West
Corner of Section (40 Township (10) Ten Range 20
Twenty, Running S 3 chains and 18 links to a stake
thence East to the run of S west water Branch
thence up the run of said Branch to the Section
line West on said line to the place of beginning
a lot of land upon which a Tan Yard now |
