County of Alachua } This Indenture made the
Seventeenth day of January in the year of
our Lord Eighteen hundred and Seventy between
James M. Hawthorne and his wife Parisade
Hawthorne of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida of the one part and
James M. Hawthorne Hunter of the same
place of the other part, Witnesseth that
the said James M. Hawthorne and Parisade
Hawthorne his wife for and in consideration
of the sum of eleven hundred dollars to them
in hand paid at and before the Sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath bargained
sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents doth grant bargain sell
alien convey and confirm unto the said
James M. Hunter his heirs and assigns all
the East half of section Twenty Two, and
all that portion of land in Section Twenty
three West of the line known as Smithers Survey
now being Three hundred acres more or less
in said Section Twenty three also the following
tract or parcil of land described as follows
to wit; beginning at a chain Stake Nineteen
chains from the South West corner of
Section Twenty Five runing thence Fifty
chains and Seventy links to a Stake thence East
to a Cypress swamp, thence South with the
meanderings of said swamp to a Branch
Boghed thence up said Branch or Boghed
to a fence thence West West to the place of
beginning of beginning containing one hundred
and Seventy Seven acres more or less all of said
land Situated lying and being in County of 
Alachua and State of Florida on the Arredondo
Grant in Township Eleven Range Twenty one
East To Have and To Hold the said Tracts
of land with all and Singular the rights
members and appertenances thereof Whatsoever
to said tract of land being beloning or
in any wise appertaining with the remainder
and remainders reversion and reversions rents
issues and proffits thereof to the only proper
use benefit and behoof of him the said
James M. Hawthorne Hunter his heirs Executors
and administrators in fee simple and the
said James M. Hawthorne and Parisade Hawthorne
