This Indenture made the Thirtieth day of August in
the year of our lord One Thousand Eight hundred and
Sixty nine (1869) between John E. Hicks Tax Collector
of Alachua County and State of Florida of the
first part and Benjamin J. Mills, of the Same
State and County of the Second part, Witnesseth
that Whereas the Said party of the first part as
Tax Collector of Said State and County by virtue
of Authority vested in him as Such by law, having
levied upon and duly and legally advertized the prop
erty herein after described and herein granted, and to
Said party of the Second part being the highest bidder
for the Same at public Auction he bidding
Thirty one Dollars $31.00 to him in hand paid by
the party of the Second part, the receipt Whereof
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby bargain Sell
and Convey to the Said party of the Second part
his heirs and assigns the following described property
to wit, Eighty Acres of land lying and being in lot
no Two (2) of the Moses Levy Grant, bounded on the
South by lands of Geo L. Barnes and Wm P. Mills
on the West by lands of Dr Hampton and on the North
and East by lands of Mary Corbett.

Erroneous Entry Tax title Deed

This Indenture made this the 27th
day of April A.D. 1869 by George L. Barnes Sheriff of said
County of the first part, and James B. Dawkins of the
County and State aforesaid of the second Whereas by virtue
of Sundry writs of fieri facias issued out of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County and to the said Sheriff de-
livered, he was Commanded that of the goods and
Chattles lands and tenements of Isaac B. Nichols
he cause to be made the Sum of three hundred
and thirty six 25/100 dollars, with interest thereon and the
costs of suit which Charles A. Fairbanks lately recovered
in the Circuit Court for said County, Also the sum of
four hundred and twenty one 36/100 dollars with interest there
on and costs of suit which R.T. Haggood & Co lately
recovered against him in the Circuit Court for Alach
ua County also the sum of one hundred and seventy
five dollars, with interest thereon with the costs of
Court suit, which James A. Jones lately recover
ed in said Court for said County and other execu- |
