This Indenture made this the 1st day of
March AD 1869 by Geo L. Barnes Sherif of Said County
of the first part, and O.A. Myers of Alachua County of
the Second part, Whereas by virtue of Sundry Writs of
Fieri Facias issued out of the Circuit Court of Alachua
County and to the Said Sheriff delivered he was comman
ded that of the goods and chattles, lands and tenements
of Harriet M. Pendarvis administratrix of the Estate of
Erastus Pendarvis deceased, he cause to be made the
Sum of nine hundred Eighty Eight 69/100 Dollars with
Nancy
interest thereon and costs of Suit, which Mary Pendar
vis admx &c lately recovered in the Circuit Court
for the County of Alachua in the Fifth Judicial Cir
Cuit of Florida - on the 17th day of November AD
1868, on foreclosure of mortgage against Said Harriet

50ยข US Pendarvis deceased and Whereas the Said Sheriff by virtue
R Stamps of Said Writs, did on the Sixteenth day of January
Cancelled AD 1869 - levy upon and Seize the property herein after
-------------------- described, And Whereas the Said George L. Barnes as
Sheriff as aforesaid, did by Virtue of Said Writs
and pursuant to the Statutes in Such Cases made
and provided duly advertise the Said property for
Sale on Monday the first day of March AD 1869
being the day of the date of these presents, and did
on this Day Sell the Same at Public Auction
according to Law, to the Said O.A. Myers of
Alachua County for the Sum of One hundred and
fifty five Dollars being the highest bidder
for the Same, Now therefore Know ye that I the
Said Geo L. Barnes, as Said Sheriff by virtue
of Said Writs in Such Cases made and provided,
in Consideration of the Said Sum of One hundred
and fifty five Dollars to me paid by the party
of the Second part, have granted, Sold and by
these presents, do grant bargain and Sell unto the
Said party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns
forever all the following property to=Wit, the South
half of the north East quarter and north half of the
South East quarter, of Section and the North West qu
arter of Section Seventeen, Township Eight, South
of range Eighteen East, Containing three hundred
and Twenty acres, more or less togather with
all the right tittle and interest of Which
the Said Harriet M. Pendarvis administratrix
of the Estate of Erastus Pendarvis deceased
had in the Said property Jointly and Severly |
