above is a Substantial Copy of a deed

                  Crawford the lands therein named that it
                  has been Served on John Dell, the present

                  days before this Term of the Court, that Said
                  deed was in the possession of Said Crawford,
                  but is now lost or Miss laid So that it is
                  not in his Custody or Control or Knowledge

                 by the Court, that the within Copy be
                 and it is hereby declared to be of the Same
                 Validity force and legal Effect as the Original
                 thereof might could or would be deemed
                 and held.  April 12th 1870
