Whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given granted
bargained, sold, and conveyed, and do by these
presents, give grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said party of the second part all that certain
parcel or tract of land lying and being in Al
achua County State of Florida Known and de
scribed as follows the South west quarter of Section
(No 30) Thirty in township (9) nine south range
Twenty (20) east containing one hundred six
ty acres (160) more or less. To have and to hold
the above granted premises, together with all and
singular the rights privileges, tenements heredid
iments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining to him the said Jacob Cohen
his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. The same
being lands conveyed to the parties of the first part
by John E. Hicks Tax Collector of Alachua Coun
ty on the (25th) twenty fifth day of May AD 1869 in
testimony whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and seals this the day and year first

Alachua County   } And now on this day comes
Sarah C. Barnes wife of the said George L.
Barnes and acknowledges that she was a party
to the above deed of conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing her right of Dower to the
premises conveyed therein, and that said relin
quishment is made freely and voluntarily, and with
out any compulsion constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband and that this acknowl
edgement was made on an examination separate
and apart from her said husband. In testimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
eighth day of April AD 1870.
