         This Indenture made the thirteenth
day of June in the year of our Lord one
Thousand eight hundred and Seventy, between
Leonard G. Dennis Tax Collector of Alachua
County and State of Florida of the first part
and James B. Brown of the same State
and County of the Second part ------
Witnesseth, that whereas the Said party
of the first part as Tax Collector of the
Said State and County by virtue of Authority
in him as such by law having levied upon
and duly and legall advertise the property
hereinafter described and herein granted
and the Said party of the Second part being the
highest for the same at Public Auction he
bidding Forty four 84/100 Dollars for the same
and the same being sold to the said party
of the second part in Conformity with the
Statutes in such cases made and provided
