Notice for Lien on Lot & Building in Gainesville
Florida To all Whom these Presents may concern
Notice is hereby given that we Henry Pardee and Francis
Pardee do intend to hold a Lein under the act of the
Legislature of Florida passed August the 4th AD 1868
and other Laws of the State upon a Hotel Building
togather with the Lot upon which the same now
Stands Situated in the Town of Gainesville Florida
and described as Block Ten Range four and now
owned by Geo L. Barnes for the amount of Eleven
Hundred and fourteen 70/100 Dollars due us by the said
Geo L. Barnes for Lumber and Materials furnished
for building the Said Hotel for Which Said Amount
the said Geo L. Barnes has given is his promisory
note bearing date the 20th day of August AD 1870
payable on the first day of March next after
the day with interest from its date at the rate
of 8 per cent per annum
