Know all men by these presents, That I John
L. Black of South Carolina do make, constitute and
appoint Wilk Call of Jacksonville Florida my
True and Lawful Attorney for me and in my
name to convey to John E. Hicks of Alachua County
one undivided moiety of all that tract of land in said County
in the State of Florida, to wit section seven (7), T.10, R.21 contain-
ing Five hundred and seventy eight (578) 89/100 acres and fractional sec
tion eighteen (18) T.10, R.20 containing one hundred and eight (108) acres,
in the Aredondo Grant; also section (12) Twelve, T.10 R.19 E six
hundred and thirty seven (637) acres more or less: Also section twen-
ty, T.10, ten R.20 East, six hundred and seventeen (617) acres more or
less: also to sell and convey to any purchaser he may find the re-
maining moiety or half interest in said land at a price not
less than that contracted to be paid by said Hicks for the moi
ety sold to him and upon no longer terms of credit the purchase
money to be perfectly by secured and the securies to be taken by my said
Attorney in my name with power in my said attorney to execute
all deeds necessary to convey all my right title and interest in the premis
es to the purchaser or purchasers, with power also, an Attorney or attorneys,
under, under him for that purpose, to make and substitute,
and to do all lawful acts for effecting the premises hereby ratifying
and confirming all that my said Attorney or his substitute
or Substitutes, shall do therein, by virtue thereof.
