                    Whereas James B. Bailey in his
lifetime sold to Rev William J. McCormick a certain
lot or parcel of land Situate in the Town of Gainesville
Alachua County as will more fully appear by the
Memorandum in writing hereto attached Signed by
James B. Bailey. Now Know all men by these presents
that I, Cosmo O. Bailey administrator of the Estate
of James Bailey by virtue of the Statutes of this
State made made and provided do hereby bargain
sell and convey, unto the Said William J. McCormick
a Certain lot in the Town of Gainesville lying immedi
=ately in rear of & west of the lot now owned by him
and described as follows to wit commencing at
a stake distant thirty feet west from the SW
Corner of his lot, running West two hundred feet
thence north Two hundred feet thence East Two hun
dred feet thence South Two Hundred feet to the place of
beginning To Have and To Hold the Same, Togather with all
and Singular the rights Members and appurtenances
thereunto belonging in fee Simple absolute. Given
under my hand and Seal this the Seventh day of
July AD 1869      }

Dollars in full payment for a certain lot in
the Town of Gainesville lying immediately in the
rear and West of the lot now owned by him
and I hereby promise to make Deed to the same
upon his return to this place

I Mary N. Bailey do hereby renounce and release
all right & title to Dower in and to the within
described Lands, Signed sealed and delivered
