                    Alachua County   } Whereas by virtue of Sundry Writs of of
                                       Fieri Facias issued out of the Circuit Court 
                                       in and for said County and State and to me Mr Geo L. Barnes
                    Sheriff of Said County delivered I was Commanded that 
                    of the goods and Chattles lands and tenements of James
                    R. Simpson I cause to be made the sum of Two Hundred 
                    and Sixty 93/100 Dollars With interest thereon and Cost of Suit 
                    which John W. Andersons Sons & Co lately recovered in
                    the Circuit Court of Alachua County against him the
                    said James R. Simpson and divers other Executions in
                    my hands and whereas I the Said Geo L. Barnes 
                    Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of Said writs did 
                    on the first day of November AD 1869 levy upon 
                    and Seize the property hereinafter described and 
                    did by virtue of Said Writs and pursuant to 
                    the Statutes in such Cases made and provided 
                    duly advertise the Said property for Sale on the 
------------------  Sixth day of December AD 1869 and did on that 
      50¢           day Sell the Same at public Auction according
U.S.R. Stamp        to Law to James B. Dawkins for the sum, 
Cancelled           of Two Hundred Dollars being the highest Sum 
------------------  bid for the same. Now therefore Know all men
                    by these presents that I the Said Geo L. Barnes 
                    as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of Said 
                    Writs and of the Statutes in Such cases 
                    made and provided for and in Considera
                    tion of Said Sum of Two Hundred Dollars
                    to me in hand paid by the Said James
                    B. Dawkins of Said County and State have 
                    granted bargained and Sold and by these presents 
                    do grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the
                    Said James B. Dawkins his heirs and assigns
                    forever all the following property to wit
                    The west half of Section twenty five and the north
                    East quarter of Section Twenty Six, Township
                    Nine Range Nineteen South & East containing
                    four Hundred and Eighty acres more or less
                    together with all the rights titles interests and Equities
                    Which the Said James R. Simpson had, of, in or 
                    the Same to Have and To Hold as fully as I the 
                    Said Geo L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid 
                                             and Convey 
                    Might Could or ought to Sell^the same 
                    Given under my hand and Seal the first
                    day of January AD 1870
