Edward Haile of the County & State aforesaid for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Sixteen hundred dollars to him
paid by Watson Porter and DeWarren Barton partners and
traders doing business under the firm name of Porter & Barton
Citizens of the County and State the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged doth hereby grant, bargain, Sell
and Convey to the said Watson Porter and DeWarren Barton
partners as aforesaid their heirs and assigns as aforesaid
forever the following real Estate to wit - The piece or
parcel of land Known as the Geo I.F. Clynch tract
Situated in Alachua County Arredondo Grant Range
19 township 10 bounded on the north by the lands of
Edward Haile and of the Estate of Maxey Dell, On the
South by Paynes Praire On the East by the lands of Edward
Haile and on the West by the lands of Porter & Barton and
Paynes Prairie Containing 396 acres more or less, together
with all the Privileges and appurtenances to the same
belonging to have and to hold the same to the said
Watson Porter and DeWarren Barton partners and so forth
their heirs and assigns forever - The grantor hereby covenanting
with the grantees their heirs and assigns that this title
So conveyed is clear free and unencumbered, and that
he will warrant and forever defend the Same against
all claims whatsoever - In witness whereof the said
Edward Haile doth hereunto Set his hand and Seal
the Twenty Seventh day of July AD 1869
