Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
                   that we James B. Brown and
Anna W. Brown his wife of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida for and in consideration
of the sum of Six hundred Dollars and ninety
Dollars to us in hand paid by A.P. Hampton
of the same County and State the receipt
whereof, is hereby acknowledged have granted,
bargained, sold, and conveyed, and by these
presents doth grant, bargain sell and convey
unto the said A.P. Hampton the following described
real Estate situated in the Town of Gainesville
in said County and State more particularly
described as the West half of the East Half of
Lot No nineteen (19) of the Brush Edition to
said Town of Gainesville measuring one hun
dred feet from the corner of W.N. Presleys lot
East and Two hundred feet north to the
next street togather with all and the rights
prevaleges tenements hereditaments and appur
tenances thereunto belonging To Have and To
Hold the same to him the said A.P. Hamp
-ton his heirs Executors administrators and
assigns to his and their own proper use and
before behoof set our hands and seals this
16th day of March AD 1870

                   D.W. Rigell who being duly
sworn states on oath that she saw James B. Brown
and Anna W. Brown his wife sign seal
and deliver the foregoing instrument of writing
for the purposes and uses therein and
Expressed and that he togather with
J.M. Brown signed the same as
subscribing witnesses
