to the animals in his charge and use it expressly for the Cul
tivation of the crop on said land, in lieu of Cultivating fodder for an
imals I relinquish my right to part of the cotton seed also further
agree not to sell any agricultural product to any person whatever
until after the crops are divided. As payment for the faithful
performance of this contract the said Doan & Nickerson agree
to give said Hector one half of all the crops raised on
said land, the Corn and fodder to be divided when gath
ered, and the Cotton when ginned. And it is further agreed
that the said Doan & Nickerson shall have the first Lien on
said Hector's part of the crops to reimburse them for any ad-
vances made him during the season. Any violation of this
Contract shall subject the violator to a forfeiture of two hund
red dollars, and his interest in the crops
