                                   presents that I Charles
                 P. Crawford of said County have this the 25th day
                 of October 1870 for and in consideration of
                 the sum of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
                 in hand paid Justly sold and conveyed to
                 William A. Maxwell of Lee County Georgia
                 all that tract of land lying in Alachua
                 County Florida and Known in the Survey of said
                 County as Sections 35 & 36 in Township 7
                 Range 18 East & South & the following parcels
                 in Township 8. Range 18 East & South to wit
                 the E 1/2 of Section 2 & the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of
                 Section 2 & N.W. 1/4 of N.W. 1/4 of Section
                 2, & W 1/2 of Section 1 in said Range & Townships
                 comprising Eighteen hundred and Sixty acres
                 more or less. To Have and To Hold to himself his
                 heirs & assigns in fee simple.
