of the said Samuel D. Smoke making herself a party
with her said husband to this conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing her right of dower in and to the premises
granted for and in consideration of the sum of Five
Dollars to her paid at and before the Execution of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted bargained sold relinquishing renounced
and forever released and by these presents doth grant
bargain sell relinquish renounce and forever release
unto the said Eliza G. Johnson and M.M.F. Huchingson all
her Estate title property dower or right of Dower in
and to the above described and granted lands
and tenements and the appurtenances To Have and
To Hold the same freely and fully and discharged
of all further or future claims of or by the said Georgiana
Elizabeth Smoke or her heirs or representatives unto
the said E.G. Johnson and M.M.F. Huchingson heirs
and assigns forever - In Witness Whereof the said
party of the first part to these presents and Georgiana 
Elizabeth Smoke his wife have hereunto set their
hands and Seals the day and year first above written
the words Rents for 1870 erased before signing

Know all men by these presents that I Georgiana E.
Smoke wife of the above named Samuel D. Smoke
do by these presents made and Execute Separate
and apart from my husband and in the presence of
Charles E. Jones a Judicial Officer of this State
acknowledged and declare that I did make
myself a party to the foregoing Deed of conveyance
for the purposes of relinquishing my right of Dower
in and to the lands in the said conveyance described
and granted and that said relinquishment and
renunciation of Dower was and is made freely
and voluntarily and without compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from my said husband
the said Samuel D. Smoke. In Witness Whereof I
hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal this
Sixteenth day of November AD one thousand Eight hundred
and Seventy.
