This Indenture made this Seventh day of February in the
year Eighteen hundred and Seventy one between Catherine
H. Birney and William Birney her husband both
of Alachua County Florida of the first part and George
N. Moodey of the same County and State of the second
part - Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred
Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
do by these presents grant bargain sell remise release
alien and confirm unto the said George N. Moodey
and his heirs and assigns forever the following parcel
of real Estate situate in Alachua County Florida
described as follows Lot No (2) Two Section (30) thirty
Township Seven (7) South Range Twenty (20) East
being the West half of the North East quarter of said
Section of said Township and Range containing
Eighty acres, togather with all and singular the
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto beloning
or in anywise appurtaining To Have and To Hold
the said premises as described with the appurten
ances unto the said George N. Moodey and to
his heirs and assigns forever subject however to the
condition that the said Waldo through said premises
shall be forever kept open fifty feet wide for the use
of the public And the said parties of the first part
their heirs Executors and administrators do covenant
bargain and agree to and with the said George
N. Moodey his heirs and assigns that at the time of
the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the
said Catherine N. Birney is well seized of the
above granted premises in Fee Simple that they are
free from all encumbrances Whatsoever and that
they will and their heirs Executors and administrators
shall warrant and defend the same against all
lawful claims whatsoever. In Witness Whereof the said
Catherine N. Birney and her husband William Birney
Who signs this Deed to signify his assent to an
approval of the same have hereunto set their hands
and seals the day and year first above written
