      To the Honorable Jessee H. Goss Judge of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County Florida, In pursuance of a Judg-
ment in this court in this action bearing date the Tenth day
of October A.D. 1871 I H.S. Harmon referee to whom the
execution thereof was confided do report That I caused
notice of the time and place of sale of the premises men=
tioned in the Judgment containing a brief description thereof
to be published by giving "public notice of the time and
place of such sale according to law" And agreeably to said
notice I did at the time and place specified in the
notice to wit on the fourth day of December 1871 it being
the first Monday of said month within the legal hours
of sale attend at the Court House in the town of Gainesville
Florida and then and there exposed said premises so men=
tioned in said notice for sale by public auction to the highest and
best bidder And I further Report that the said Newton Williams
and Howard Todd are the plaintiffs in said action and Judgment
creditors in said Judgment and that the said sum of Eight Hundred
and fifteen Dollars so bid by them is not more than sufficient to cover
the amount of said Judgment and the necessary legal costs
& disbursements incident to the publication and sale of said
mentioned premises
  And I do further Report that in satisfaction of said Judg
ment costs and disbursements I have executed acknowledged and
delivered to said purchasers the said Judgment creditors my
Deed as Referee for said premises sold as above mentioned
