to me that he signed sealed and delivered the foregoing instrument of writing
as the act of said firm 
which is to me Satisfactory Evidence of the due Execution of the said instrument of writing.

dollars to me secured 
to be paid by J. E. Dodd have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said J. E. Dodd the following
described Lands situated lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida to wit: The E1/2 of S.E.1/4 of N.E.1/4 and E1/2 of S.E.1/4 of N.E.1/4 and the E1/2 of S.E.1/4 
and the S.E.1/4 of S.W.1/4 of Section 21 and the N.E.1/4 of Section 28 and the West1/2 of the 
N.W1/4 and the W.1/2 of S.E.1/4 of Section 27 and the W.1/2 of N.W.1/4 and the W1/2 of S.W. 1/4 of
Section 22 Township 7 South of Range 18 East Situated on the north and west
Sides of "Townsend Branch" and Containing 311 44/100 Acres more or less: Also the
N.E.1/4 of N.W.1/4 of Section 28 and the S.E.1/4 of S.W..1/4 and the N.W.1/4 of
the S.W.1/4 and the W1.2 of the SE1/4 and the Ne1/4 and the NW1/4 and the SW1/4 and
the W1/2 of NE1/4 and the E1/2 of the NE1/4 of Section 15 Township 7 Range 18 South
and East Containing 444 Acres more or less. Also the SW1/4 of NW1/4 and the NE1/4 of
NW1/4 and the S1/2 of the NW1/4 and the NW1/4 of NE1/4 and the NW1/4 of NW1/4 of
Section 14 Township 7 Range 18 South & East Containing 240 Acres more or less.
     To have and to hold the same to him the Said J.E. Dodd his heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever in fee simple.
     In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
the 9th day of March A.D. 1871.
