                Know all men by these presents that I Junius C. Gardner of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida party of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of one dollar to me in hand paid as well as for the better securing the pay-
ment of one hundred dollars for advances of merchandise already made and to 
be made do hereby bargain and sell unto Moses Endel of the said County and State
party of the second part The entire growing crop now being cultivated by me on the plantation
of George Bucklin in said County and State also one sorrel pony one black pony and
one bay mule
       To have and to hold the same unto the said party of the second part
Provided always that if the said party of the first part Junius C. Gardner shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said party of the second part Moses Endel
the said sum of One hundred dollars in Currency or in Cotton at the market price
in the town of Gainesville Florida on or before the first day of November AD 1871
Then this instrument to be void else to remain in full force virtue and effect.
  In Witness Whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal
